Apple Has Outdone Itself With Apple Ipod Mini

Apple ipod mini is a 4-gig version iPod. It is much smaller, with dimensions of 50.8 X 12.7 X 91.4mm and weighing only 102g.

But you can still stuff an amazing number of songs on it, it has 25 minutes of skip protection, the battery lasts eight hours and it comes in five colors: silver, gold, green, pink or blue. Belt clip and earbud headphones included.

Apple iPod mini can store up to 1,000 tunes in its hard disk.

With their ipod mini, users can effortlessly connect with the iTunes Music Store, the most widely used online music store in the world.

Together with the Apple ipod mini comes a power adaptor, a FireWire cable, a USB 2.0 cable and a CD with iTunes 4.6. The iTunes 4.6 is compatible both for Windows and Mac. The battery life can last up to 8 hours.

With the exciting array of features, colors and capabilities, it is no wonder whyApple ipod mini have made its mark in the music player industry in such a short span of time.

Before the creation of Apple ipod mini, it seems that nothing can beat Apple ipod in its game. Besides being the leading in the hard and portable music player, Apple have already dominated the all other portable market industry.

So it does not come as a surprise that only Apple can out design the original ipod when they introduced Apple ipod mini.

But just like the original and full sized ipod, Apple iPod Mini carries a premium price tag. A tag not everyone have the capability to leave up to. For those who have, they realize that it is one thing worth paying.

A speedy FireWire/USB 2.0 connection used by Apple ipod mini makesdownloads a breeze. The new click wheel inherent in the mini ipod with integrated buttons is in fact easier to navigate as opposed with the original controls.

The one tough decision consumers have a difficult time making is choosing a color. A more advanced battery is also developed to last twice that of an ipod. But then, this comes with a price range suiting an excellent device.

Among the flash memory players, the iRiver iFP-390T won Editors' Choice award. It has a sharp design, a very easy-to-use interface, and a wealth of features that go beyond those seen in other music players.

The FM tuner reception was top-notch and voice recordings were excellent. A USB 2.0 interface would probably have earned it a rating of 5.

For the fickle minded consumers, buying an Apple ipod would have caused them some regrets now that they have seen a much better device with Apple ipod mini.

Blame it all on the geniuses from Apple. Those who are just planning on buying an ipod will definitely have something to lust after in Apple ipod mini.

People are already thinking ahead. If Apple ipod mini is the thing now, what would they think of next? Leave it to Apple to come up with something that will amaze even the most difficult persons to amaze.

For the time being, Apple ipod mini is the THING. Unless the next big thing comes early, then it will remain that way for some time.

Few Key Points To Highlight :

  • It will be available on the new iPhone 4S (Verizon and CDMA too)
  • It has had no noticeable drop in battery performance in day to day use
  • It does not cause any heating of the rear case
  • The light goes off when the screen goes off. This means it will not glow when you are on a normal call and have the phone to your ear or have the phone on standby
  • The light effect is an evenly distributed glow, much like the apple symbol on the rear of a mac book lid
  • It does illuminate when you receive a text or call, or when your alarm sounds
  • It does not cause any change in thickness to the phone or result in any light leakage around the frame
  • The glass plate used is that from a standard iPhone 4 and is, therefore, available in black and white (or even custom colors if required)
  • The color of the apple logo can be changed by applying a colour filter and its intensity can be reduced by reducing the front LCD brightness. There are other, currently classified, mods that may be possible too depending on testing. Currently, when the light is off, the apple has a frosted glass appearance but this may change to reflective silver, if possible, to maintain the original look of the iPhone
  • The camera function is completely unaffected either with or without flash
  • Plans are to release an export franchise kit which will be available to trained repairers abroad. It is by no means simple to replicate and would not be advisable to attempt without the expertise and knowledge of how the iPhone functions at a circuitry level. Details of how to participate will be released in the future
  • It will void any warranty with apple but the modification is fully reversible, returning the iPhone exactly back to how it was (at a smaller additional cost)
  • It will come with iPatch's standard 90 day warranty so if anything goes wrong, you are covered
  • International orders are welcomed although please be aware of the delivery scale and costs
  • It looks, quite frankly, awesome!
This mod is currently in production and testing and will be in market soon. Advance users can directly purchase the hardware and install it themselves where as those who need some one to install this mod on their device can send their devices to iPatch's workshopONLY when there is any official announcement.

Steve Jobs Named The Greatest Entrepreneur of Our Time By Fortune

Fortune lists Steve Jobs As The Greatest Entrepreneur Of Our Time

Steve Jobs is the greatest entrepreneur of our timeCompany: Apple

Sales: $108.2 billion

Market Value: $546 billion

Employees: 63,300

Advice: Say no to focus groups and market research.

Earlier today, the new issue of Fortune came out with a cover story - "The 12 Greatest Entrepreneurs of Our Time and What You Can Learn From Them." The late Steve Jobs topped Fortune's list of  "12 Greatest Entrepreneurs Of Our Time"

narayana murthy is greatest entrepreneur of our timePerhaps the most astonishing fact about Jobs was his view that market research and focus groups only limited your ability to innovate. Asked how much research was done to guide Apple when he introduced the iPad, Jobs famously quipped, "None. It isn't the consumers' job to know what they want. It's hard for consumers to tell you what they want when they've never seen anything remotely like it."

Steve Jobs is the reason why Apple was able to conquer the world market within a few span. It was his innovative ideas and the research that he had put into which led Apple to make blockbuster products like the Mac book Air, iPad, iPod and the iPhone. It was because of Jobs that Apple was always ahead of its competitors. Jobs believed that consumer is unsure of what they want, market research fetches no help here. It is the responsibility of the manufacturers to make something that would be adopted by the consumer.

On the day Apple launched the Macintosh, a reporter from Popular Science asked Steve what type of studies Apple had conducted to ensure there was a market for the computer. In a nearly offended tone, Jobs retorted, "Did Alexander Graham Bell do any market research before he invented the telephone?"

The list of 12 Greatest Entrepreneurs Of Our Time includes the following entrepreneurs :

  1. Steve Jobs (Apple)
  2. Bill Gates (Microsoft)
  3. Fred Smith (FedEx)
  4. Jeff Bezos (Amazon)
  5. Larry Page and Sergey Brin (Google)
  6. Howard Schultz (Starbucks)
  7. Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook)
  8. John Mackey (Whole Foods)
  9. Herb Kelleher (Southwest Airlines)
  10. Narayana Murthy (Infosys)
  11. Sam Walton (Wal-Mart Stores)
  12. Muhammad Yunus (Grameen Bank)
